Director Gaurav of Thoonga Nagaram fame is currently busy with a film titled Sigaram Thodu. For this, he has roped in his guru, director KS Ravikumar, whom he has assisted in a few movies, to play an important role.
Says Gaurav, "These are the beginning scenes in the film. It involves a discussion between Sathyaraj (the hero's dad) and a cop, introducing the protagonist. Even while writing the scene, I wanted someone who was jovial and could carry the scene with ease. And, who better than my guru, KS Ravikumar, whose acting skills are well-known?"
So, was he nervous directing his guru? "I was hesitant if I could match his speed because he's a very fast worker. After shooting the sequence, he even told Sathyaraj sir that he liked the experience."
