24 school children get food poisoning
Ballia (UP), Twenty four students of a madarsa fell ill after consuming some eatable in a fair here, official sources said today. The incident took place when the students of Darook Uloom Ubadia in Kotwari village in Rasda area ate some item in a fair last night and started complaining of uneasiness and vomiting this morning, they said.
Chief Medical Officer P K Singh said the students were rushed to hospital, where their condition was improving. A team of health officials also visited the madarsa to take stock of the situation, which was normal, police said.
