Dindigul : Two school boys were killed when they were hit by a lorry as they were about to board an autorickshaw at nearby Veru veedu, police said. Police said the boys, aged 16 and 12 had come outside the the Government high school and were about to get into the autorickshaw when a speeding lorry coming from Usilampatti hit the three wheeler.
The children were taken to hospital but declared brought dead on arrival, police said. The lorry driver has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
