Patna, A P J Abdul Kalam, who has been backed by Trinamool Congress and Samajwadi Party for Presidential race, arrived here today on a scheduled visit and was welcomed by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at the airport. Kumar's receiving Kalam at the airport assumes significance in the backdrop of TMC and SP rooting for his candidature for the post of President. Kalam will attend two separate functions in the city on June 15th.
