Bangalore, Eight persons were killed and 14 injured after a goods tempo in which they were travelling fell off a bridge near Sathanur in the neighbouring Ramanagara district this evening, police said. Ramanagara Superintendent of Police Anupam Agarwal told PTI here that the victims were returning after a temple visit.
Police sources said the victims belonged to Nagadevanahalli near Kengeri on Bangalore outskirts. The injured were hospitalised.
