Pakistan clash


Islamabad: At least five Pakistani soldiers and 25 terrorists were killed when security forces attacked militants' hideouts in the country's restive northwestern tribal region near the Afghan border on Tuesday.

Security forces targeted militants' hideouts in different areas in Upper Orakzai Agency and killed 25 militants, Dunya News reported.

During the clashes, five security personnel were also killed and 16 others sustained injuries.

The clash took place when the militants opened fire on security personnel who were advancing into the area during a military operation.
