Bhubaneswar, At least eight people, including two women, were killed and seven others injured after being struck by lightning in different places in Odisha today, police said.
While two farmers were killed when lightning struck their fields in separate areas of Kendrapara district, as many women cultivators killed and seven injured in Ganjam district in similar incident.
Lightling claimed two more lives in Balasore district one each in Keonjhar and Bhadrak districts during the day, police said.
