Complaint against six more emu firms

Erode, Economic Offences Wing of the Tamil Nadu Police have registered cases against six more emu firms on complaints from public alleging that these establishments cheated them by promising lucrative returns on investments in commercial rearing of the bird.   More than 2000 investors in the emu firms in their
complaints stated that they invested huge money and the firms cheated them by not giving their assured monthly incentive.

Meanwhile the EOW police have seized the cheques and passbooks of the several emu firms and instructed banks to freeze the accounts. EOW police had earlier this month arrested a emu farm owner on charges of cheating a large number of people of crores of rupees by promising them lucrative returns on investments in ercial rearing of the bird.
